VigilantVPN Privacy Statement

Effective date: July 13, 2026

This statement explains what information VigilantVPN processes, why it is processed, and how long it is retained when you visit the website, purchase access, or use the VPN service.

Information we process

VPN traffic

The VigilantVPN account system does not intentionally record the contents of your VPN traffic, the contents of communications, or a browsing history. The service does process network traffic to operate the tunnel. Upstream networks, destination services, DNS providers, and other third parties may independently observe or retain information under their own policies. A VPN does not make you anonymous and cannot prevent tracking performed by websites or applications.

How information is used

Information is used to:

Sharing

VigilantVPN does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Information may be disclosed to infrastructure, hosting, network, and payment providers as needed to deliver the service; when required by valid legal process; to protect users, the service, or others; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of the service. Providers are given only the information reasonably necessary for their role.

Retention

Non-lifetime VPN account records are scheduled for deletion seven days after their service expiration date. Lifetime account records are retained while the service remains active. VigilantVPN does not retain the third-party processor's detailed transaction records. The limited fulfillment record—internal order number, successful-payment confirmation, and purchased term—may be retained for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Operational backups and security logs may persist for a limited additional period before being overwritten or deleted.

Cookies and browser signals

The public website does not use advertising cookies. Essential session or security technologies may be used where necessary to provide protected features. Because VigilantVPN does not sell personal information or perform cross-site targeted advertising, a browser “Do Not Track” signal does not change the public website's behavior.

Security

VigilantVPN uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect stored information. No Internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Keep your claim link, configuration, account number, and renewal key private.

Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with you. Because the service does not require a conventional user profile, you may need to provide your account number and demonstrate control of the corresponding renewal key before a request can be fulfilled. VigilantVPN may retain information where required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

Children

VigilantVPN is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. You must be legally able to agree to the Terms of Service to purchase or use the service.

Changes to this statement

This statement may be updated as the service changes. The revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on the website when reasonably practicable.
