VigilantVPN Terms of Service

Effective date: July 13, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the VigilantVPN website and VPN service. By purchasing, claiming, renewing, or using VPN access, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Statement. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, and legally capable of entering into these Terms. You may not use the service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

The service

VigilantVPN provides time-limited or lifetime-designated access to a shared WireGuard VPN service. A VPN encrypts traffic between your device and the VPN server, but it does not guarantee anonymity, uninterrupted access, access to any particular destination, or protection from every security or privacy risk. Websites and applications may still identify or track you.

Beta program, prices, and payment

The service may be offered as a beta and may contain defects or change without notice. While the website states that no beta payment is collected, checkout is simulated and no purchase charge should occur. When paid service is enabled, prices, access periods, payment methods, and any applicable refund terms will be shown at checkout. You are responsible for any taxes or third-party transaction fees required by law or the selected payment network.

Account credentials and configurations

You are responsible for safeguarding your claim link, account number, renewal key, recovery information, WireGuard configuration, and devices. Anyone with access to these items may be able to use or control your VPN access. Do not share or resell access unless VigilantVPN has expressly authorized it. Notify the service operator through any available support channel if you believe your credentials or configuration have been compromised.

Acceptable use

You must not use VigilantVPN to:

Expiration, renewal, and lifetime access

Time-limited access expires on the date shown on the claim or administration record unless renewed. Connectivity may be disabled at expiration, and the VPN account record is scheduled for deletion seven days later. Renewal after peer deletion may require creating a new VPN configuration. “Lifetime” means the lifetime of the applicable service or offering, not your natural lifetime, and does not guarantee that the service will operate indefinitely.

Suspension and termination

VigilantVPN may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address prohibited use, security threats, nonpayment, legal requirements, service protection, or discontinuation of the service. Where practicable, the operator may provide notice or an opportunity to correct the issue, but immediate action may be taken when necessary to protect the service or others.

Service availability and changes

Servers, locations, addresses, protocols, speeds, capacity, and features may change. Maintenance, outages, congestion, third-party failures, and events beyond reasonable control may interrupt access. VigilantVPN may modify or discontinue all or part of the service and does not promise that any specific website, application, or geographic service will be reachable.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, security, speed, or anonymity. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VigilantVPN and its operator, providers, and contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, profits, goodwill, or access; or damage resulting from your use of or inability to use the service. Total liability for claims relating to paid service will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected service period. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as the service changes. The revised Terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

General

If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Statement are the entire agreement concerning the service except for any additional terms presented at checkout.
